Pretty.Odd

As you can see by the titles of my posts, I am a Panic at the Disco fan. And since the band has a new cd coming out on March, I just thought it would be kinda fun to dedicate this first blog to them!!!!!!

WOW! New album, new tour and who knows what else; seems to me this is going to be a very busy year for the Panic at the Disco guys. The guys' hectic agenda starts on March 25 with the release of their sophomore album Pretty.Odd. Ryan Ross (member of the band) says this album will reveal the band's real identity since the past album A Fever You Can't Sweat Out "sounded more like another band." So for all of you lovers, here I have the track list for the new album (thanks to itunes)
1. We're So Starving
2. Nine in The Afternoon
3. She's a Handsome Woman
4. Do You Know What I'm Seeing?
5. That Green Gentleman
6. I Have Friends In Holy Spaces
7. Northern Downpour
8. When The Day Met The Night
10. The Piano Knows Something I Don't Know
11. Behind The Sea
12. Folkin' Around
13. She Had The World
14. From A Mountain In The Middle Of The Cabins
15. Mad as Rabbits

The first single Nine in the Afternoon is already out (if you haven't heard it I really recommend you go to itunes and download it, or you can visit the band's myspace and listen to it. www.myspace.com/panicatthedisco). The premiere of this video will be tonight (Sunday February 10th , 2008) at 9:00 p.m. on MTV's website. I saw some clips for the video and it actually looks like the guys are not going to disappoint us with it. The song is pretty good, has a very good rhythm, the guys' voice sound fresh, you can actually hear how much they've grown careerwise.

But seems like the band is not gonna be making sound changes only, apparently they have also made a change that has the fans all around the world going crazy. The band announced they were removing the exclamation point from the name. YES! (I don't see why people have gone so crazy about this but whatever!) Anyways...... they went from being Panic! at the Disco to Panic at the Disco (woohoo big change!). According to Ryan, the "! " wasn't really part of the name but people just started writing it that way which turned out to be "a little annoying to write that every time you're typing the name." Panic! or Panic I could really care less, I think they are still going to sound amazing!

The second big event for the band this year will be their Honda Civic Tour where they are gonna be the main event. The tour will be kicking off on April 10 in San Francisco, California and it'll be going around the US. Here is the official tour schedule for those of you who haven't seen it yet.
